Africa and Africans, what are you doing to yourselves?
Nigeria and Nigerians, what are you doing to yourselves? Why do Africa and its
peoples devalue themselves; why do we refuse to accept ourselves as equal, if
not better than our adversaries? Did I say our adversaries; oh no, we are our
very own adversary. We run away from our
own cultural traditional knowledge, we abdicate from patronizing our home made goods,
sometimes products and services. What we produce or manufacture does not
attract us. The people discriminate our traditional herbal medicine; our elites
also run from using our own hospitals; they run to Europe, America, and now
India for their medical attention. The
prevailing idea in Nigeria particularly and Africa generally is that goods or products
that come from foreign lands, is better than our home made, no matter how
inferior the foreign made goods are. We
run-after and embrace foreign made goods, foreign culture and idea at the
regret of our own superior culture, knowledge, and wisdom. Nigerians even runs
from eating their own natural and purely organic food. They run to eat fast foods that are nothing but
junk food with names such as fried Rice and Indome. Nigerians rush at Chinese oily foods which
their ingredients are usually unknown, in Nigeria.
For example, Textile Mills in Nigeria can cloth the
whole of Africa if products from them are embraced and used by Nigerians. Nigerians prefer used cloths from America and
Europe to Nigerian manufactured brand new cloths, for themselves and their
children. If available at all, it is
very hard to find locally made children’s wears, made with Nigerian manufactured
materials in most Nigerian markets, especially in Benin City, Edo State. Children’s traditional wears are not
available at markets in Benin City, Edo State.
I have to pay extra money to make children’s native dresses made with
Nigerian fabric for my grandchildren whenever I am in Nigeria. The Textile Mills in Nigeria could have been
developed to provide much needed employment for citizens and to enable Africa
export their own manufactured textile materials to the outside world. Nigerian lawyers are still wearing those
synthetic materials and hoods made in Europe with synthetic materials that are
not suitable in the hot climate of Africa.
According to an authoritative verified opinion,
today’s development in human ideas, technology, science, awareness, infrastructure,
the Arts, Philosophy, Religions etc., were derived from the so called primitive
ideas of the indigenous people. Africa,
you have the most aged indigenous humans on our Earth with both arcane and
esoteric knowledge of the Art and sciences.
Leaders of Africa, did I say leaders or rulers of Africa, Africa is yearning
for embrace, and understanding. African rulers
do not neglect your own. Embrace your cultural
and traditional knowledge or science
possessed by the natives who have the ears that hear and understand the
languages of the leaf of the trees, their roots and barks, plants and the seeds
of the vines; in other words, those who understand the African invisible
African world and are able to interact with the herbal kingdom
successfully. If you prefer, call them native
doctors, the witches and the wizards of Africa.
Africans, do not neglect what God has given you,
find ways to use them for your own benefits and for the benefits of mankind. Nigerians, consult the “Confession of a
Wizard: the Devil’s Arsenal,” a book by Dr. J. O. Mume to catch a glimpse or
get an idea of the power or knowledge that can be tapped from the witches and
wizards of our land. Contact the
Agbekoya of Ibadan of the old Western Nigeria who caused the uniforms of 19
policemen to glue to their bodies. Any
member of this group can tell the kind of knowledge or power possessed by the
indigenous African native doctors. Agbekoya
is a name of a group of Yoruba Farmers who had complaints against the then
authorities in Ibadan, southwest of Nigeria.
Agbekoya means, farmers reject sorrow or intimidation. The men of the Nigeria
anti-riot mobile police force were sent to stop the Farmers’ protest during the
period of “Operation weti e” in the Region. During some of the protests which were more or
less political at that time, people were set ablaze after petrol had been
poured on them; such actions was called “operation wet ie” in Yoruba language.
For further example of the knowledge of African Science
that can be deployed for the good of society in Africa, let Africans remember
the Masai and the Kikuyus of East Africa, and read about the late Jomo Kenyatta
of Kenya, and the Mau Mau, an indigenous group he led in pre-colonial time in Kenya.
With the un-matched African scientific
activities of the Mau Mau did the British give up. According to reports and recorded history,
members of the Mau Mau and their actions were always invisible to the naked
eyes, but their victims who were always Whites were seen. This was what stopped the British Imperial
rule in Kenya even though Jomo Kenyatta was arrested in 1952 for his role as
the leader of the Mau Mau. Kenya
obtained its Independence in which Jomo Kenyatta, the father of the present
Kenyan President, Uhuru Kenyatta became the first President of Kenya in 1963.
What a pity that some religious fanatics will come
with guns and explosives to kill and maim many innocent people including
children and women at a Mall in Kenya.
In Nigeria, some religious fanatics have also slaughtered and killed innocent
country men, women and children, in Mosques and Churches, all in the name of
God. Are we saying that nothing can be
done; that we do not know what, and how to do what is needed to be done?
Are
we Africans not stupid to yield to the envious notion and idea that what we
know and have that can be used for the good of humanity generally, and Africa
and Africans particularly, is fetish? What
is wrong with being fetish? Fetish is an
object or image invested by indigenous
peoples with divine or demoniac power, and as such, reverenced devoutly. So what is wrong with being fetish? Compare
the use of nuclear weapons, guns, automatic and non-automatic; bombs, and poisonous chemical to the use of
fetish: Let us think of what we are denying ourselves. Its never too late to recognize the knowledge
of the witches and wizards of Africa so that it can be taught and used for the
good of our society and to be pass on for its preservation.
As we write these thoughts in this
treatise, many Europeans and Americans who were already orthodox medical practitioners
are now going back to study herbalism with a view to enjoining the spiritual knowledge
of the natives to their mundane exoteric scientific knowledge. Others are using what they have to achieve
what they want or need, - their goal; but Africans run away from what they have
and allow others to catch them pants-down all the time. Is it not people that carry the guns and
bombs with which they commit their havoc every time? The bombs, guns, and munitions do not carry
themselves to wherever they will be used against their targets and those whom
they consider as enemies. Even if it is the
new technology, the unmanned drone, is it not a human hand that programs the
unmanned craft with deadly missiles?
It has been
said that with “African Science” that Nigerian wizards have made a
sophisticated airplane that flies round-trips to New York from Nigeria in one
night. Is it impossible therefore that the
same knowledge or power can be used to ensure that those who are commanded to
carry guns, the bombs or program a drone, are neutralized to be unable to do so
beforehand? We are saying that the firing
of the guns, detonation of the bombs, the havoc and destruction there from, are
all effect and not the source; the source is those agents behind the planning
and execution of whatever it is to be programmed, fired or used to cause
unbearable hardship including death to innocent people.
Africa, Nigerians, use what you have to ensure your
happiness and existence. One is not unaware that some of our misguided
and miseducated people; some of the so-called African intellectuals because of their
ability to articulate in a foreign language Eurocentric ideas, the
religionists, and their fanatics, will argue that what cannot be verified has
no basis for acceptance. The set of
miseducated Africans forget that their inability to verify a manifestation does
not rest with the manifestation but their own inadequacy. One’s own inability to understand an exoteric
scientific formula does not nullify the existence of the scientific equation
among exoteric scientists. But the
religionists accept and believe that Jesus died on the cross while Muhammad was
God’s Messenger even though, they have no actual evidence of what they have
been made to believe.
Africa, do not become a victim of blackmail; the
murderers who invaded the Mall in Kenya should not have had the opportunity to
do so if the Kenyans visa-za-vise all African countries’ rulers have not failed
to see beyond their nose. It was a muted
rumor that the famous French Concord plane that used to fly within an hour from
London to New York was purchased from Kenyan wizards. Is there any reason an African government
should rely solely on the power of the guns from their ex-colonial masters to
achieve harmony, peace and progress?
The late Jomo Kenyatta successfully tapped into the
invisible world of the Kenyans, as the then leader of Mau Mau; President Uhuru
Kenyatta should not let the Kenyans down; do not let President Barack Obama
down, please. Seek you shall find, knock
the door will be opened. Become Initiated into the wisdom of the indigenous
Arts and Science of the Masai and the Kikuyus. If you cannot become an Initiate
of your traditional science, seek the assistance of those illustrious indigenes
of Kenya who knew the organization of what was Mau Mau.
What one is here propounding and recommending is a recipe
for an African redemption. African
peoples and their governments should look into it. Western ideas have not stopped corruption in
Africa. The phenomenon is crippling the
economy of the states; very few industries to provide employment for the
youths; the youths are escaping to foreign lands in search of where to earn a
living. Those at the helm of affairs have not informed the populace at all to
look inward because some of them, the rulers are less conscious as they also believe
that made in Nigeria or Africa is inferior to foreign made.
Watch it, if stopping corruption assignment in
Africa/Nigeria is given to the witches and wizards of Africa/Nigeria, as a mark
of recognition of their arts and crafts, every state treasury in the continent
will not be looted by those placed to manage the economy of the states. If our culturally abominable behaviour of
homosexuals can be recognized by European/Western countries, what stops African
countries from giving credence or legitimacy to witchcrafts and wizardry;
creatively use their wonderful energies to protect our economic system? Funds will become available to create
industries that provide employment for the teaming population on the continent
if corrupt officials are deterred. Start
this experiment in all African states by ensuring that everyone who must
exercise state authority, judicial officials, the police, and those that have a
political portfolio in all administration take the Oath of Office by using a
Cultural Artifact which is a Symbol that represents a powerful Deity among the
Kenyan people, the peoples of Nigeria, Ghana, Ethiopia, and so on etc., etc. The use of the Bible and the Koran when
people are being sworn into offices in Africa are instruments that have been in
use and have not proved their worth on the subject matter.
Corruption is stoppable in Africa, but not with
western methods. Africans should have
gone through a cultural reorientation after the colonial spell; absence of this
reorientation is the result of the current cultural disorientation which is
responsible for many of the societal dissonance in many of the African
countries. African peoples cannot
afford to wait any longer to join the rest of the conscious communities of the
world. The people need to be reorganized
and controlled. Freedom is not free in a
profitable democracy, and we cannot under utilize the talents of some viable
members of the society, (the youths), by the current unemployment which
prevails in most parts of the continent.
I am charging all African media practitioners, radio
and television, public relations officers to most governments and their
officials in Africa, to bring this matter and the prescription here prescribed
to the attention of their presidents, ministers, governors, commissioners, permanents
secretaries, directors, et cetera to look into this matter. Help us wake Africa up, and rescue the continent. No one else will save Africa but the Africans
themselves. Therefore, Africa wake up,
Nigerians stand up and claim your rightful place in Africa and the world; love
yourselves and be conscious of what is yours and be proud of it. Anyone who runs from what they are will
become what they are not.
